AKUAANA Regional Reunion in Dallas, Texas: April 15, 2017
Faisal Qureshi, ’93, and Namirah Jamshed ’95 hosted their second annual Dallas Alumni Picnic for AKU Alumni in the Upper-Midwest (MN/WI/SD/ND) region, on April 15, 2017. 25 AKU alumni from 1989 to 2014 came together for food, conversation and of course cricket. The team led by Shaalan Beg and Arshad Malik used some inflationary math to win, but it was all in good fun. Here are some pictures of the event.

We had a fantastic evening full of fun, with over 50 alumni at the AKUAANA Regional Reunion for Virginia, Maryland, DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey!

AKUAANA Regional Upper-Midwest Reunion (MN/WI/SD/ND): March 19, 2016
Ameer Ali Khowaja, ’06 and Tauseef ur Rehman, ’07 hosted a fantastic regional reunion for AKU Alumni in the Upper-Midwest (MN/WI/SD/ND) region, on March 19, 2016. They had a lovely turnout, with more than 20 alumni attending the event. Dr. Irfan Altafullah was the chief guest, and shared his memories from the founding years of AKU as a faculty member. The main event comprised of a series of presentations, with opening remarks and moderation by Tauseef ur Rehman, ’07. Alumni were fortunate to enjoy a very inspiring video message by Dr. Farhat Abbas, Dean of Medical College. A very special thanks to Dr. Abbas and the office of Alumni Affairs who took the time and effort to records his personalized message for the event. AKUAANA Regional Reunion in Dallas, Texas: March 19, 2016
Faisal Qureshi, ’93, and Namirah Jamshed ’95 hosted a wonderful regional reunion in Dallas, Texas. Attendees included graduates from the classes of 1988 through 2012. The highlight of the reunion was mixed cricket. Browse through some pictures of the event here.
AKUAANA Regional South Atlantic Reunion (VA, MD, DC, WV, PA, NJ): May 21, 2016
We had a fantastic evening full of fun, with over 50 alumni at the AKUAANA Regional Reunion for Virginia, Maryland, DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey! We were able to raise $5800 for the AKUAANA Outreach Initiative, all of which was sent directly to AKU via AKF, USA.

AKUAANA Regional Midwest Reunion (St. Louis): June 03, 2016
On June 3rd, 2016 AKU Medical College Alumni had a regional reunion for Midwest alumni in St. Louis, Missouri. Over 30 alumni plus spouses and many kids were able to join together for a fun evening. The attendees included alumni starting from the Class of 1989 all the way to Class of 2013!
Atif Shafqat, ’93 & Nadya Ajanee, ’93, Amana Nasir,’98 and Hamid Bashir, ’02 did a splendid job organizing the fantastic event! A detailed recap can be read here, along with pictures of the event.

AKUAANA Regional North-East Reunion (NY, NJ): July 24, 2016
Thank you, Ghulam Abbas (’94) & Sunniya Khan (’08) for organizing the event. We had 30 AKU Alumni in attendance who had a wonderful time. Ten AKU Alumni actually committed and signed up as AKUAANA members. Way to go, and thank you for your support! Enjoy some pictures of the event here.
AKUAANA Annual Alumni Reunion (Washington DC): August 05, 2016
With 180 attendants, the AKUAANA Annual Alumni Reunion, 2016 had the largest gathering of alumni till date! Class Reunions, Class Gifts, Specials Gifts, Old Friends, New Friends and a fantastic concert. What else could our alumni ask for? See pictures of the mega-event here!
