Sadaf Khan

Sadaf Khan is a graduate of the Class of 1992. She completed her General Surgery residency and Colon and Rectal surgery fellowship from Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. Following the completion of training, she joined the same institution as Senior staff in the Division of Colon and Rectal surgery. In 2006, she returned to Karachi, Pakistan and joined the Aga Khan University as Faculty in the Department of Surgery. There she was deeply involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education. During her stay there, she obtained a Diploma in Health Professionals Education. In 2011 Dr. Khan relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. She is currently Faculty at Case Western Reserve University.

Sadaf took over as President of AKUAANA in August 2011. With her team, she focused on means to encourage and enhance alumni engagement with AKUAANA and AKU.

Sadaf is married to Mumtaz J. Khan, also of the Class of ’92. They have a daughter and two sons. She moonlights as a chauffeur, patiently waiting for her eldest child’s driver’s license.
