Atif Shafqat
Atif Shafqat graduated from AKU in 1993 and did his internship-residency training in Internal Medicine from Duke University Medical Center and Hematology-Oncology fellowship training at Indiana University. He is staff attending at BJC-Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. He is also President Midwest Hematology-Oncology Consultants, Inc., a 7-physician specialty group, Chair of the Hospital Cancer Committee, Associate Principal Investigator for the Cancer Control Research at NCI designated Heartland Community Cancer Oncology Program and Clinical Preceptor for St. Louis University Physician Assistant Program.
Atif is married to AKU alumnus Nadya Ajanee. He is a proud dad of three children and a self-proclaimed squash enthusiast.
